Co-founder of Génération d'idées (2007); author of the essays « Les Orphelins politiques » (2015) and « Rebâtir le camp du Oui » (2020); Lawyer of the Year (pro bono category) of the Jeune Barreau de Montréal (2010); columnist for Radio-Canada, Bazzo.tv and Les Affaires.

A lawyer by training (McGill, Oxford), he practised litigation at Stikeman Elliott and then as a partner at Delegatus, with international law internships at NATO and with a human rights organization in Bolivia, before becoming special adviser to the leader of the Parti québécois. Elected party leader in October 2020, he entered the National Assembly in 2022 as MNA for Camille-Laurin.
